The success of building work depends on quality mineral materials. Being an organisation that unites several smaller building companies, TREV-2 Grupp Plc has access to mines and sandpits across many of the regions in Estonia. The companies of the group produce and sell granite rubble at different grades, flag road metal, gravel, crushed gravel, gravel road metal, and screened and unscreened sand. The use of modern technologies and aggregates for mining guarantee quality production that can meet the demands of the whole building industry. The company has production control certificates that guarantee and confirms the conformity of the building materials that it produces with the quality requirements.
Five companies deal with production and sale of building materials. Ropka Liiv Plc is the company that specialises only in the sandpit side of business, dealing with mining and sales for sand and gravel in Tartumaa. The sand is recovered with the help of a dredging pump which pumps water from ten metres underground. Besides, Ropka Liiv Plc, there are also Teede REV-2 Plc and Kagu Teed Plc (Põlva Teed Plc and Valga Teed Ltd) which deal with the mining business.
