TREV-2 Grupp Plc unites Estonia’s oldest and most stable road building companies. Practical knowledge and experience that has been accumulated over many years has made the company a high-level expert and pioneer in the field of road building. The group’s companies were always remarkable in their field thanks to their innovative way of thinking. Outstanding engineers, experienced work managers, and dedicated management are the cornerstones of good results. There are four branch companies that deal directly with road building. The biggest one is Teede REV-2 Plc, which specialises in building new roads and refurbishing existing roads. Most of the highways that have central reservations in Estonia were built and underwent reconstruction work with the participation of Teede REV-2 Plc, and the company also carried out an important part of the work to renovate the network of trunk roads and build bridges. Being a creative and innovative company, ours was the first company to purchase a large asphalt cutter, and was the leader in the adoption of stabilising techniques and technologies.
Along with road building, an important field of activity for the group is road maintenance. The foundation for this new sphere of operations was laid in 2000 when the production and maintenance departments of the Põlva Road Administration were privatised. TREV-2 Grupp Plc was the first private company to be involved in the maintenance of state roads, winning a contact for the maintenance of the roads across an entire county.
Today, three group companies, Kagu Teed Plc (Põlva Teed Plc, Valga Teed Ltd, and Kolm Teed Ltd), and Teede REV-2 Plc, maintain and repair a total of 3,300 kilometres of state roads, which means that it takes care of twenty per cent of the country’s entire road network. These figures make the group the biggest partner to the Estonian Road Administration in the road maintenance field. At the same time, with their high levels of competence in road maintenance, these companies have become important and reliable partners in the field of road building. These companies build and carry out reconstruction work on roads all across Estonia.
Amongst the largest projects and successes of the last few years can be included the building of the Kukruse-Jõhvi road section on the Tallinn-Narva highway (in 2009-2010), the building of the main road in Mustla on the Viljandi-Rõngu highway (2010), construction of the Mehikoorma-Laaksaare highway (2010), construction of the Koidula-Võmmorksi highway (2010), and reconstruction work on the Tallinn-Rapla-Türi highway between the 37.0-43.2 kilometre sections (2009-2010).
